Cancellation policy

 

If you are unable to attend a booked appointment or need to rearrange, please call 07756 231380. Giving at least 48 hours’ notice is preferable where possible, in order for the appointment to be offered to someone else.

Cancellations within 48 hours’ of your appointment may incur a fee.

Privacy policy

 

You will be provided with a full Privacy Policy and Therapy Agreement during your first appointment. Here is a summary of key privacy policy points:

  • General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) are adhered to and all of your information is stored securely in line with the current Data Protection Act 2018.

  • Any information recorded or discussed remains confidential, except for in the following exceptions: when it is legally and/or ethically responsible for The Therapy Room to disclose information with or without your consent, if there is a risk to you, to other people, or a child protection concern or act of crime.

  • Your personal information will NEVER be sold or shared with any third party without your explicit consent.

  • Your information will be stored confidentially for 7 years, in line with the code of conduct for this profession.

  • You have the right to make a written request to access, correct or erase your information at any time.
